Firstly I'd like to say a gigantic thanks to you all. I have been watching the developments over the last week or so and have marvelled at the way it all seems to have accelerated. Little wonder you have all went to bed with heads buzzing, night after night.

I have been keeping out of it on purpose and watching from the touchline. There's not much I could have added anyway.

Yes, I'm sure that some sort of summary would be a good idea, especially at this stage of the proceedings. If that could be done I would be very pleased indeed.

I started this off as an attempt to trace a few ancestors from my great-great-grandfather, Robert. If that is achieved, I will be considerably more than happy.
