Firstly, many,many thanks for your effort. It may be better if I just give a comment or two because most of the time I tend to get carried away with the first names that come along and as we know the situation is not helped by most of the extended families having the same names.

Thomas was of course, my great grandfather. His first wife, Jane Graham, died after having fifteen children. He married again, later in life to Mary Ann McLaughlin who had a couple of kids of her own. He must have been a glutton for punishment.

The daughter was Dorva and it seems that she was probably named Dora but whoever gave the registrar the family names appears to have had a speech impediment, so Dorva it was.

Thomas's son Anthony married Ann Knowles in 1902. Anthony was killed in the 1910 Wellington Pit Disaster which is well documented.
