In my earlier reply I said that Joseph, (my grandfather) died somewhere between 1950 and 1960. I may be able to get a more accurate estimate by contacting a relative if need be.
Also in my earlier reply I said that Thomas married Mary Anne McLaughlin of St Bees ,Cumberland. This does not tie in with the two names you have shown but Mary Anne had two children not credited to Joseph. Might she have been married more than once or might there have been some other marital complication? (!)
