I note that you say you will look again tomorrow and with this in mind, I am only posting a short reply.
Briefly, the three censuses that you have posted, seem to be 'not quite' right. In particular, the 1871 and 1881 have names and dates that don't quite work out. Thomas certainly seems to have had a lot of children!
