Tony, further to: William Corkill 1779-1855, the son of John Corkill & Jane Skillicorn of Ballagorry Mooar, whom I recorded as married (1800) to Cath Kelly (Wm Corkill aged 77 B'Gorrey bur.16 July 1855), but who you thought could be the William Corkill who married Elinor Christian.

Two of the children of William Corkill & Catharine Kelly were:
Catharine daur of William Corkill/ Catharine Kelly bapt Parish Church 19 Sep 1802, and
Mary Ann daur of William Corkill/ Catharine Kelly bapt Parish Church 27 Jan 1805.
Mary Ann illegitimate daur of George Looney & Mary Corkill bapt 1 Apr 1827 looks like the granddaughter in this census, and Catharine their daughter, even though they have cut a year or two from their ages?
In 1841 the same four people were at Ballagorrey Voar cottage.
But that doesn't get us any further with your Robt CORKILL aged 47, Port y Vullin, who was buried Maughold 4 Apr 1853, or who his parents were.
I thought his age fitted Robert the son of William Corkill & Elinor Christian bapt. 14 Sep 1806, but I'm almost 100% certain that this father William was not the Ballagorry one [above] who you put on your proposed tree.
