I have looked at the thread from March 2005 and followed it through as much as I could. Sadly, I can't spot if there's anything you've missed. One thing that I keep coming back to is the William born 1779 who married Elinor Christian. From somewhere, I also have a record of him being the son of John C and Jane Skillicorn but I can't remember where I got all this info from. I know that you are well aware of all this. It would have been easier if they had been named William (1), William(2) etc. It would have all been sorted out by now. My head is in a whirl. Yours must be a thousand times worse! Thanks again,
