You asked ne about Frederick Brew and I have the same data as Sue except I have Patrick Brew christened in 1760 and died in 1833 altho I can't confirm this. His wife Alice Joughin born 1764 , daughter of John Joughin and Ann of Andreas.

My grandmother was Margaret (Maggie) Brew 1861 daughter of John Brew and Catherine Kennish.

Margaret Brew married Victor Charles Oscar Joughin born 1856 . His father was Joseph Joughin chr 1824 who married Eleanor Cannon chr 1828, in 1848 in Liverpool. Joseph was Commodore of a Clipper Ship that sailed to India in the tea trade. Victor was an Ironmonger and had stores in Ramsey and Peel. I don't have the other lines of the Joughins but there may be some connection.
