I believe that the Frederick Brew you are researching was manager of the Ramsey Branch of "The Manx Bank" which was est in 1882 and ttaken over by Merchantile Bank of Lancashire in 1900 and that by Lancashire & Yorkshire Bank in 1904, and by Martins in 1928. Martins became a part of Barclays Bank, and I think the present Barclays branch in Ramsey is the old "Manx Bank" premises. He was also chairman of the Ramsey Steamship Co, and as I am researching that, I would wlecome any further biographical data.
