Thanks for your message... it actualy came via email which is surprising. I could not find any connection in my records for any of the surnames you mentioned.

Just for info: the BBC or ITV did a V.C. series a few years ago and Major Cain V.C. was shown, it was a very interesting story. It might be possible the company still has the recording on a CD.
