This is mainly because of repetition of Given names and Occupations through the generations.
What I will say is that you are correct with some of your guesses.
Meanwhile I confirm that James Redhead ( born 1802) married three times.
Thomas (Tom) Redhead his son was born c1824 in Malew (before his parents marriage).
Tom married twice.
He was first a Labourer then a Groom/Coachman, then a Malster and finally a Gardener.
