Re: Eleanor Callow and John Caveen *PIC*

Hi Laura

There's a lovely photo of Miss F Caveen in the imuseum collection. Its studio index number is 18275 which dates it to 1877 or 1878.

The name written on the glass plate has a strangely formed Christian name initial letter-----I puzzled over it and realised that it's F, so I looked at lots of other photos of people with surnames starting with F until I found one written in the same time frame by the same studio worker. I'll attach 3 images:
1) the studio label "Miss F Caveen"
2) the photo of Miss F Caveen
3) the studio label "A Fayle" to show the style of the letter F.

The only other Miss F Caveen was Frances Caveen b 1855, daughter of Thomas Caveen and Mary Walker.

The Miss F Caveen photo here looks like a teenager, so it's likely to be Frances Amelia b 1860.
