So basically, are you saying that those on my tree are correct, albeit some of the documents attached to them are not?

The only query with what you've sent me is right at the bottom when you write "she must have had a tough time..." - looking at the dates of the census and that the 'she' was noted at aged 24 I'm assuming that you are referring to Elizabeth Caveen who married James Ewing?
The only problem with that is that I'd already got her having George in Jan 1871 and on a census record for 1871 with him and in 1881 with him and his younger brother James, born in 1873.
Unless I've got the wrong census records - always a possibility.
