Hi Averil, thanks for your follow up on this matter.
It would appear that the Vicar wrote the wrong Father, it should be William as I could not find a marriage of Robert to Margaret Quirk but a definite William one.
I find it interesting that no one on the board seems to be investigating my family line , maybe we are the blacksheep of the Corkill Clan??? or too difficult to sort out, the Corkills are a very confusing line
