it may be that I seldom look at baptisms at that period as civil birth registration started a few years later - my own interest is generally pre 1841 so maybe the register is a locally printed book (the fields are those required by the Act) - the fancy border is typical of those found in Methodismt plans and other publications mid to late 19th C
