No, I am not of this line of Corkill's, I descend from the William Corkill d. 1748 B,jora, Maughold line.

I have looked for a marriage for, Robert Corkill and Margaret Quirk, but cannot find one.
There are a lot of Children born to a William Corkill and Margaret Quirk - the 1838 baptism would fit in with their family.

Do you think the Vicar has written Robert as the Father - when it should be, William ???

Have you followed the family in the Census ?
