I did see the burials index but what worries me is that they are a little confusing.Wm fits with the age at death with the census but it is Selena that puzzles me. The Selena buried in 1901 is listed as age 70 which cannot be right as her age is listed as 57 in the 81 census. I also have her christening as 1825. I believe both were buried in the same plot and to have a william and selena in the same plot - surely there cannot be 2 wm and selenas! Im going to double check the death cert info -
Just another note. A friend who is also researching this line and is as frustrated as i found a Wm Cain in the 41 census living with a Philip Cain , father age 40 in Queen St. Mother was Mary born in England and several other siblings. Again there is no name continuity.
