Not much help from my I.O.M. rellies in my search for my Great Granny Annie Isabella (aka nee Drysdale, Quirk) Teare - according to death entry - born 25 Dec 1874 (illegitimate child) in Rushen - died 28 Feb 1972 - Mannin Infirmary Braddan. usual address - "Savona" Castletown Road, Port St. Mary.....I am looking for some guidance as to finding her parent and grandparents please...was told she was raised by her grandmother (name unknown) in Cregneish, and was schooled under the name of Quirk in Port St. Mary....her mother left her and went to Australia with new hubby last name "Tate or Tait".
