Congratulations on finding the baptism, which fits perfectly with the ages given for Annie Isabella when she was a child, and which are usually the most reliable census ages.

Regarding no father's name, would it be possible for you to look at Rushen Presentments in the MM, to see whether the father's name and place of residence is given? Hopefully they still had these in 1878. (They haven't been filmed.)
