The archivist said " The Family History Society of Utah
will be digitizing the sheets" Presumably without its
help there would be no new centre.I don't think anyone
has mentioned the very large amounts of charity money
from the Trustees of MNH & the Friends of MNH which
possibly made it difficult for the Tynwald members to
vote NO. The saving grace in these difficult times was
the adjacent unused building. I have just walked past it
on my way home & the renovation /clearance of junk into skips was going at a great pace.There is no hope of more money Tynwald is onto more big schemes on Tues.
