I do not mean to be a pessimist....I used to live across the bay in Southport....I still have fond memories of numerous visits to the island to visit family.....however I would like to see some way of placing research queries to the center online I would gladly pay for copies of record if reasonable...even emailed facsimiles would be nice...I too love the island and would love to visit again someday...but as always money is the question...do I pay for a visit or for more records...guess which always wins...the records of course.
