We all agree, including yourself, that John born ca 1748 s/o John Looney & Margaret Kelvie, got half of it from his father's will 1769, and ultimately all of it after his mother's death some years later. Unfortunately, despite evidence to the contrary, you have trouble believing that he lived to 1835 and died age 87. Being very old, he passed it to his son John (Rachel Redhead) 2-3 years before he died. it's as simple as that, over and done, full stop.
