Ah, I'm beginning to understand - My knowledge of Emma Elizabeth Wharton's (nee Radcliffe) 8 children stops after John, Clara, and Eleanor. The remaining 5 were born yearly from 1878 but I don't know names. I also don't know any children of these 8, hence not knowing of you - my apologies.

Regarding Regaby Veg, we do have photographs with 'cousins' in them and thought we knew who they were. Perhaps Stanley will know more?
Regarding the petition. I have only that Ellinor (Ellen) Quale's parents were John Quale and Ann Moughtin and didn't know of any siblings (i.e. Margaret). This John Quale I belive once farmed a property called Regaby Veg - so what you surmise is possible. However, I have not seen John's will and probate details, and must admit have not really looked properly at the Quale side of the family.
If we could get the probate record of Margaret Cowell's (nee Quale?) estate, which I assume will be indexed in Canada somewhere, that would be really interesting I guess - well done.
