Re Eleanor, yes John Sedgwick Cowper and his family started out in Toronto and ended up on the west coast in Vancouver, where he was a newspaperman. Their daughter Constance married Robert Douglas Foster and was my son in law's grandmother. Another interesting more sombre thing about that family is that Connie's son Victor, my son in law's father, died of a rare kidney disease called Fabry's.. He was the only one of the 7 children affected, but it is inherited through the female line apparently, so i have been looking closely at the Radcliffes for this additional reason. ... L>
