I would say Ann was a Charwoman - you can see the 'r' quite clearly and the C compares with some of the other Cs. The other looks like Tailor to me. A couple of entries above there is a 'Sailor Seas' and the Ss are different from that T. Also there is a Martin Taylor above where you can compare the 'Ta'.

I think the younger son's occupation is worse - 'Assistant in ???'
