Have now the 1901 CD rom, but need help with occupations as it is very hard to read the 'registrar's' handwriting. Castletown 115 48 - Ann Kinvig age 44 living at Mill st. Is it char or wash/woman? Also Herbert son age 20. I think William age 23 is tailor - thought it could be sailor but decided it would be fisherman if he went to sea.
I've been a teacher 40 years so I'm used to all sorts of handstyles but Herbert's occupation has me stumped! Thanks again anyone willing to look it up for me.
