I feel I am unable, and unwilling to allow your recent message to go unchallenged and feel compelled to respond to your very nasty message to Frances Coakley. There was absolutely no need for you to respond in that aggressive manner as Frances was, as always, attempting to assist you in your endeavours.

For your information Frances is an exceptional lady and her knowledge of genealogy, particularly with regard to the Isle of Man, is enviable to many of us. She has helped, selflessly, a great many amateur researchers on this forum and your posting:

is totally unacceptable on this board. Your message contains, in my opinion, most disrespectful language and I must say that if you are not happy with the manner in which this board is carried out, then you have an alternative - go elsewhere!

I believe I can speak for many regular contributors that your manner leaves a lot to be desired and will not be tolerated on here. I anticipate that a lot of researchers will jump to Frances' defense and I for one, will be first in the queue.

All the time, energy and help donated by Frances, and this I emphasise - is on a completely voluntary basis, as is the time by several other voluntary contributors who are all extremely knowledgeable.

I suggest you go elsewhere to do your research as language and total disrespect such as you have displayed on here is not welcome.
