yes ivy cottages are still there for the moment, they were sold to goverment, and they were loverly guest cottages, but they will be knocked down, the lady i spoke to seems to think that the barn up by old bridge [ snotty bridge as it were called when i was a child ] and up the road was speedies meadow where we would all walk to and my brothers and his mates used to play robin hood and his merrymen, we girls would play by the river or walk to the old fairy bridge, it was either that or stay in the field and get wholloped by a flying arrow, oops now back to the barn she seems to think the barn maybe the old pub, but i am not seeing a barn there,,
