Just to clarify there were two different Catherine Sharpes who were mother and daughter. Catherine the mother after James Sharpe died had one illegitimate child and the daughter Catherine Anne Sharpe had two illegitimate children. The mother appears to be Catherine Clague daughter of Joseph Clague and Catherine Radcliffe baptised at Arbory IOM in 1829. She married Daniel Cannan at Braddan IOM in 1849 then James Sharpe at Maughold IOM in 1865. She died at Ramsey in 1886.
