I was wondering about Edward Alma Sharpe being buried from 3 Brenton Street Toxteth Liverpool. The RC baptism from Our Lady of Mount Carmel names him as Joseph Sharpe but the birth date is right though the year is out by one. Mother was Catherine Sharpe. Godmother was Mary Ann Stubbs. Gore's Directory 1895 has James Stubbs plasterer at the address. Looking at the census records they were Irish. On the Irish records as James Tubbs and Mary Ann Tubbs formerly Fortune originally from Enniscorthy, Wexford. No relation to Catherine it seems perhaps she lodged with them or got to know them while living in the area.
