Re: Lyall - Ramsey Isle of man

More on addresses of interest. On the 1891 census WH Lyall was with his Lyall grandparents in Lezayre. They were at Milntown which is not far out from the town of Ramsey. On the 1901 Census he was with his Lyall parents at 6 Loch Villas in the town of Ramsey but recorded as in the parish of Lezayre. This house is still there it’s in north Ramsey across the Sulby River. The street is off Shipyard Road and one side of the street appears to be Loch Villas and the other side appears to be Templar Terrace. The British Army record mentions the Lyalls being at 5 Templar Terrace at some point. On the 1911 census the Lyalls are at 5 Radcliffes Lane off Church Street in Ramsey this no longer exists.
