Re: Manx Y-DNA Study
In Response To: Manx Y-DNA Study ()

Dear Mr.CREER,
I have been to the MANX DNA website, read your 6 pages on the CREER family and how you descended, and the diagram of matching DNA, I e-mailed you about my rare defect in my heart, and I think I put on the board A FEW DAYS BACK, we have 8 sterile family members who cannot reproduce, they are all the same age range from 36 to age 40, they have married and never reproduced,, 7 males and one female, by your various studies, the AMISH problems of genetics, and DEAFNESS IN MARTHA'S VINEYARD'S families, and other anomalies, I feel that truly the DNA TEST FOR ME and MACK CAIN is very essential, and not JUST for ORIGIN OF OUR GENO,SCANDANAVIAN or IRISH, as the CAINS BY YOUR STUDY have the MARKER of being SCAN. so I would like maybe some of my other family members, my brother, who also has an anomaly, INBREEDING ON THE ISLE I ALWAYS stated throughout my post for years, if you look at the archives of my post, I stated that intermarriage on the ISLE was a way of life, as here, the CAINS OF THE 1700'S AND 1800'S married first cousins, and many of those generations, could not produce children, our CAIN LINE here is few, that is why I HAD SUCH TROUBLE in researching our line, when young, only two living sisters, my grandmother and her sister, BUT LATER FOUND other CAINS right under my nose, not far away, but still a small band of them, as stated many spinsters, but the anomalies are here,I AM A RARE ANOMALY, if you read your e-mail from me, heart doctor states, very rare, yet I lived, which amazes me even to this day, and I am 60 YEARS OLD, in legal work, which I have worked for many many years, I know the importance of facts and burden of proof, that must come together, so in the GENO book I TOLD YOU I HAD and many others, as a book collector, of many areas , COOLEYS ENGLISH LAW, OXOFORD LAW, FICTION, HISTORY, OLD MEDICAL BOOKS, SCIENCE, SHAKESPEARE, books everywhere from every topic known to mankind, my library and an avid reader, the GENO BOOK goes into allot of what you have on the MANX DNA site, so I feel the testing of all MANX DESCENDENTS, is very important, I see you have only two CAIN'E'S and MACK will make a third, I THINK THE TEST FOR WOMEN AND MEN, would be good for me to take, to see the what geno ancestry of peoples of different areas, such as Isle of man or the CHEROKEE blood of my mother showing up. I really love the STUDY and think all the board postees that have the NAMES that can particpant, SHOULD, you have got a great study, but you do NEED MORE PARTICIPANTS, MANY MORE, I ENCOURAGE ALL THOSE WITH THE NAMES that should be in the study, to DOSO, I have not finished reading all the site, the percentages, are interesting and I love GENO STUDIES, got into it years ago because of my rare heart. Well, I would like to be invited to take the SEQUENCE TEST, for men and women, if you feel it would benefit me or the CAIN LINE or give insight to the study. I greatly appreciate and admire the work you have done, wish I had really gotten more into this site years ago, when asking about it, it truly is a site all who are researching for their ancestors by the names listed on the website on the ISLE AND ELSEWHERE should participate in the STUDY they should, GO FOR IT, if invited, wonderful site, and wonderful study! I COMMEND YOU ON YOUR STUDY OF YOUR CREER FAMILY STUDY AND COMMEND YOU FOR BRINGING SUCH A PROJECT to the MESSAGE BOARD, I think it would bring much insight to the MANX PEOPLES to who they are and what their line BY GROUPINGS . 1000 A.D., I think you said, your line was traced . It is a great STUDY, AND A VERY MUCH NEEDED STUDY. Everyone should know where they came from and make up genetically and what peoples are in their bloodline, it amazes that only a SWAB, which I had a KIT long ago, still in the FORMAL PARLOR in a drawer, not for the MANX LINE for me, for research to make sure my DNA was of CHEROKEE LINE, which my mother was 1/2 CHEROKEE INDIAN,yet, I am white as snow. Weird, my daughter was a THIRD GENERATION THOW BACK GENE, as stated and now my grandson,I HAVE A GREAT GRANDCHILD ON THE WAY and cannot wait to see how this child comes out, there is always one, always one child, I have noticed that comes out different than all the rest if you have multiple children, always,I have observed this over and over and over again. That is why I began a be a GENEALOGY HOUND AT 16 years of age and still at AGE 60, going at it, it is in my blood, I wanted to know why I WAS SO DIFFERENT THAN MY SIBLINGS, I WANTED KNOW WHERE I CAME FROM, MY GRANDMOTHER, Nancy Ann Alifair, made me so curious, I just had to dig and dig, I wanted answers, but she held so much and took it to the grave, OLD PEOPLE DID THAT BACK THEN, but now we are a generation who really don't care about SKELETONS IN THE CLOSET, WE WANT TO BRING THEM OUT AND SKIN THEM, SO WE CAN KNOW, which is why I am ever grateful for this BOARD, in finding it by accident and yes, we have had our disagreements, and I GOT OFF, but all lin all, THIS BOARD DOES A GREAT SERVICE, A GREAT SERVICE, AND THE VOLUNTEERS, and yes, me and Frances have gone round and round with ADAM CAIN, but I learned to RESPECT HER AS I HOPE SHE HAS LEARNED TO RESPECT ME, which one day THIS MANX BOARD may NOT BE HERE, so glean from the fields of this board and now I HOPE TO GLEAN FROM YOUR STUDY.
Kindly yours,

Mrs,Jonnie Ruth Rosa
