Re: Manx Y-DNA Study
In Response To: Manx Y-DNA Study ()

John,

Thank you for the thorough update regarding the study. The update and the exchange within this thread are most interesting.

Thanks to you and your referring me to the "Little Scottish Cluster" (LSC) study a recent development has surfaced that I believe will interest you and others.

The LSC study has uncovered two men named Cain who share my value of 9 for DYS511 and 21 for DYS481. I see your scoreboard indicates two or more Cains or Caines are participating. Perhaps one or both of them are part of your study and you're already aware of this specific Cain/Clucas similarity. At least one of the Cains is upgrading to Y111 testing and I plan on doing the same.

For the present time it still looks like my vagabond ancestor was in Scotland 900 AD +/- before my line ventured to Mann.

When I do upgrade to Y111 I'll let you know so you can keep an eye out for the results.

Thanks again for all you've done and taught me and for your continuing efforts.
