Just searching through cains and made me wonder about my john henry cain,can any one think of a reason why i cant seem to find him,or his father robert cain/e, ive searched and they are just not commimg up, john cain/e married 1917 and it does state his father was robert [ deceased ] a carter, yet i cannot find a carter of that name [ well i can find one but not him ] it does not help that there is no mother mentioned,
In 1911 census it states john was born union mills [ marown parish then ], there is a lady who belongs to cain who says our cains came from camlork, but i see no evidence of it, where as in all census on ancestry it says john patrick or braddan. im at a loss with this one, maybe time time to give up
