I have a lot of infomation on this family. Our family is connected through Jabez Pendlebury. The family originated from Bolton in Lancashire. John Tuck's father was James Pendlebury and it was he was he who fought in the American Civil War. It was after that the family went to the IOM where James became involved with starting the Manx Building Society.
