Looking for any info on the Pendlebury family. John Tuck Pendlebury was born in 1870 or 1876, I'm not sure where he was born. He died in 1917 in Winnepeg, Manitoba.John Tuck married Mary Victoria Rose Burgell. Mary was born in Brisbane, Australia. Her mothers maiden name was Mainwaring. Together they had 5 children, George, Ethel, Frank, Elizabeth (my grandmother) and Elsie. All 5 children were born in Isle of Man. I believe John Tuck's fathers name was John as well. He fought in the American Civil War and was taken POW. He was released and returned to New York City to his unit and left the army in 1891.
Does any of this sound familiar to anyone?
