yes we knew about him - the RMF were however restricted to UK only and should not be posted overseas so if it were the same Daniel the muster book might show a transfer - I might have a copy of that (I transcribed one but there are three companies - I think the muster books are on film RC2 in Museum (same film I think as Southside composition book (1760 copy) - they did serve in Ireland c. 1798 - many of the top ranks were from the leading families
