I am truly grateful for the effort you're putting into this. My logic is that if I can attach the name Daniel to Lt Mylrea, then I have made progress. I think I might start hunting around in the Military Publications. The Australian National Library carries Hart's, and someone I'm in contact with is doing a PhD on the Commissariat Service. MAYBE Lt Mylrea gets a mention somewhere with first name in some of the early Army lists.

Is there a date of death for Daniel, s/o Thomas M & Rose Savage?
