Re: John CORKILL & Mary Ann BREW

Hi Sue,
My apologies if we overlapped here. I'm not sure if you had sent this particular family to me; perhaps you had and I hadn't entered it in. I'm always running out of time and forgetting where I was, the story of my life (especially the forgetting).

I just looked backwards at ths family and I've credited you "Skillicorn Family, Lonan Nov 2011" for John Corkill's father Thomas, and everything backwards from there (Corkill and Skillicorn), but I had stopped at John Corkill and Mary Ann Brew other than their daughter Jemima who has Gelling connections (my research). It all comes together, which is wonderful. So yesterday I did the research and entered in their family and census records, to see if I could figure out the Louisa Corkill that started this thread. Which is the same research you'd already done. Sigh.

Serves me right for coming into the act late! I realize now there are quite a few different Corkills in this thread, and its a real mixed up bag. I've more or less managed to sort out the Gellings and Scarffes, and you and Lois are doing a grand job on Skillicorn, and others on other lines. Corkill would be a huge challenge for someone to take on. I guess it's easier than Kelly though.
