Thank you Averil but I don't know if that Sophia aged 24 was the dau of Philip & his first wife Sophia King OR if this Sophia aged 24 was the wife of the 18 year old Philip Crochan. I have this census page where it also shows the father Philip Croaghan aged 55 with his 2nd wife Catherine aged 60 also at Balladoole. I have as yet no chr for a Sophia Crochan dau of Philip & Sophia but I have a John, an Elizabeth & a Frances to 1st wife Sophia & Philip to second wife Catherine. All these , as you see, were born pre 1841 which is where my knowledge ends. I would really like to find out the parents of Philip Croaghan/Crochan born c 1787 plus any siblings he had. From my notes Sophia (nee King) was born in Ireland so that's it with her as Ireland is not included. Again thanks.
