Re: Manx Y-DNA Project
In Response To: Manx Y-DNA Project ()

Dear Mr. Creer,

I recently wrote to a RORY CAIN, who was doing the CAIN/CAINE DNA PROJECT, are you aware of his DNA PROJECT ? Mr. Cain was quite kind to E-mail me back and state only the male line could be used, a brother or father, uncle. I was wondering why not my son, he is identical to my brother, my brother is not interested in the DNA PROJECT, he feels we are MANX and that is all he needs to know, he feels like the DNA is a waste of time, whereby, I do not, for in my case, where our PATRICK CAINE left the Isle and came to AMERICA and the statements of some that feel we are not MANX, the FAMILY BIBLE stated that PATRICK AND ALICE CAINE came to AMERICA and came in at AUGUSTA COUNTY VIRGINIA and of course all this information of my line has been put on this board many times. I stated on my last post that for me the OUR PATRICK IS OUR PATRICK AND WE ARE SURE OF THAT and that the the research was over, for our PATRICK is buired here and ALICE in the famly graveyard, but I would love to have the DNA done, I know my son would be off me and not a male off my father, but he is the mirror image of my brother, and my daughter was a third generation throw-back gene for red hair and my husband was shocked, my grandmother, NANCY ELIZABETH CAINE WAS RED-HAIRED, FIREY RED, so could there be a possibility we could use my son for the test, for I did not go any further with the RORY CAINE, DNA project, please let me know if the lineage line will be to far ahead or if the genetics of my son would be invalid for use because he is not off my father.

Kindly yours,

Mrs. Rosa, off ADAM CAINE line from Kirk Michael Parish
