Are you sure of the John Caine (patrick ) connection
but Ann + he left wills

John - dated 26 may 1783;ballacaine;dau margt,cath(intack dalby mountain rent three halfpence) exex;1787: wm kewley h/o cath acks + also for legacy from her mo ann caine als karran

This to me would seem to indicate that John Caine was of Patrick parish - however it should be possible to trace in land records
