Re: Philip Cain
In Response To: Re: Philip Cain ()

Dear Ms. Coakley,

Thank you for responding, his father ADAM CAIN is buried at KK MICHAEL PARISH, so how would the child of the father be buried at another plot, remember you did state to me about 16 families left and went to Michael against the Bishop's wishes, or perhaps that was Mary who posted that to me, and that they returned, but they returned back to BALLAUGH PARISH, but with no repentance, so could Philip have been buried at MICHAEL, instead and our records wrong AGAIN? If the plots were by families, then if ADAM is buried at MICHAEL, perhaps I am looking at the wrong burial plot, maybe I need to contact the MICHAEL PARISH. Would that happen, burying a child at one Parish where they had gone back to and not with the family at MICHAEL?

Even so with no records as you stated the family plot would be be the only way to find another relative that was deceased of that family, so MICHAEL may be where I SHOULD LOOK, BUT BY OUR RECORDS FROM THE ISLE WE HAD BALLAUGH PARISH.

Kindly yours,

Mrs. Rosa
