Here liethe the remains of John CLUCAS late Clark (sic) of Parish of German who departed this life on the 2nd of May in the year of our Lord 1829 aged 46 years
A loving friend, a father dear, a tender husband lieth here great is the loss that we sustain we hope in Christ to meet again
Catharine CLUCAS otherwise LORD relict of the above who died 9th day of Jun 1864 aged 75 years
