Afraid I am getting confused. My ancestor is Thomas Radcliffe of Ballaradcliffe b. 1704 and married to Esther Quark. His father was William Radcliffe b.(c. 1670) but I am confused as to who was his mother. I have read that William was married to Margaret Lawson in 1704 but I have also read she was married to Robert Quirk. Also I thought William was married 3 times the first was to Alice Martin Thomas Radcliffes mother, then Catherine Sayle and finally Jane Sumpterals Lace. Would be grateful for any help.
