Is the image,"Onchan Baptism 1797" of "Wm, Son of John Christian, Beegoad,..Lod:Die", shared by Col on 25/5/2017 10:15am of the same Bishop's transcripts you cite? Do you know what the last two words in that line mean? Not sure that's an "L" before the "od".
I have downloaded and am trying to understand the "Property Records" article, so I can follow your description of the transactions you have uncovered. I am also trying to understand how the reference to James Christian + wife Ellinor, and son Philip Christian fits. Is James also a son of John + Elizth.?
