I'm aware of where BL's index came from - it was however in the allocation of will to LDS film that I was trying to comment on (an error here leads to a 6 wk delay) - however I only have access to Manx Museum GL7xx films and these may well differ from current LDS films tho based on the same filming, the MM films often break a year between 2 films - re the later 17th C Epis wills I pointed out to BL at time that a better index existed done by several volunteers over a decade and a half at Museum (see my transcription of same)
Re Bk1 and Bk2 entries - can't explain this as several erroneously 'booked' wills are clearly labelled - however the best description of ordering on many 19th Episcopal will films is random - some parishes in book order other merge bk1 + bk2 and on some films parishes are jumbled
