Image shows that Alice Scaife was a spinster, and that her father was Robert Gill, butcher.
Following Alice Grindrod through subsequent censuses, her birthplace is given as Kirkby Lonsdale, Westmoreland. The year prior to her marriage she was living in Heywood, Bury, and she gave her age as 28.

It’s probably a different Robert Gill, butcher, but I thought it was worth mentioning.
