Re: Margaret Caine, Kirk Michael. wife John Quayle

All is as Donna says...then in January 1748 Margaret marries John Quayle, at Michael. (MNB)
I realised she had a third marriage when I read her son Hugh's will, May 1751. His goods are left to his sister Mary, 'Being underage her mother Marg. Quayle' is sworn on her behalf.
John is exec. of Margaret's will, Dec. 1788. she left her goods to her daughter, Mary, wife of William Quayle.
However her grandchildren , from her Quiggan marriage petitioned against this.

Husband John asked for a day at the Consistory court, as he 'was desirous to settle affairs this side of the grave...so he may be freed to pay off dischargable debts and legacies'. This was granted January 1790.
Margaret's daughter Mary Knickle married William Quayle, Ballaskir Jan 1773, she was about 30. He was 21.
Mary Knickle had had an illegitimate son, John Rodgers June 1765.

William Quayle was son of Wm Quayle Ballaskirr, and Margt Shimmin from Ballabooy, German, married K.M. April 1753.
