I also meant to say that the FHC staff usually allow you to order several films at the same time - there is sometimes a wait if no-one else in the country has ordered that particular film before, and they have to be flown over from Salt Lake City.
I used to order half a dozen at a time, because some would arrive sooner than others. The LDS have filmed millions of records - parish registers, wills, army and other service records, apprenticeships, censuses, land records, MIs, historic books, indexes - absolutely everything they could get permission to film related to genealogy. Have a look at their Library Catalog under "Search records" on FamilySearch.org.

See: www.familysearch.org/eng/search/frameset_search.asp?PAGE=igi/search_IGI.asp&clear_form=true

You can find the film number on the old IGI (same link) under "Source Call no" at the bottom of the screen when you bring up a baptism or marriage.

Braddan Christenings, marriages, burials 1872-1883 for those children's burials should be on LDS Film 106190, but there may not be much information.
DIXON, Edith Annie 1 week Braddan 19 Apr 1873.
DIXON, Augustus Joseph Fenney 6 wks, Braddan 21 Jul 1874.
DIXON, George 2 mos Braddan 8 Feb 1879
[Donna said that each child is in grave #1221]

You can also get registered births, marriages, and deaths on film up until about 1901 (from 1878) so the 1879 death of George Dixon 2 months should be there with more information.
Deaths registered in the District of Douglas v. 1 1877-1883 v. 2 1883-1888 v. 3 1888-1889 FHL Film No.454968
Deaths registered in the Districts of: Braddan and Marown 1878-1901 Foxdale 1881-1900 Ballaugh 1878-1901 Kirk Michael 1878-1900 FHL Film No.454970
- Only problem is that I'm not sure whether the district would have been Douglas or Braddan where George's death was registered. You may need to ask the IOM Registry. Give them the burial date and place.

Otherwise you would need to order the index film as well: Death index Douglas, v. 1, 1877-1952 v. 2 1939-1964 FHL Film No.454957.

It's a lot easier than it looks written down!
