Thanks for that, I had reached the same conclusion, it good to have another view point on it, although why they should keep up the pretence after the death of his wife I do not know. Strangely Caesar had another brother in Manchester who is on census as being married, when he died in his will he is described as a bachelor despite the fact that he had about five children. In later years his wife reverts to her "maiden" name as do the children. Perhaps it's a family trait.
As for Susan Jones I'm sure I have her as a child in Clifton, Bath so it pretty well a full picture now.
